There is parking in the angled spots directly in front of the hotel.  Additional parking is available between May 1st and November 15th in the angled spots by the triangle garden and between November 16th and April 30 there is additional parking in the rear of the hotel by taking the driveway to the right.  Parking on residential streets overnight is prohibited and will result in a parking ticket. Parking on busy weekends in the summer may get crowded. If all of the above parking areas is filled, you may park on the east side of Ocean Avenue at the beach 2-3 blocks away. Due to the hotel's popularity, it is recommended to bring one car per reservation.

In order to ensure that we can maintain our high standards of cleanliness, we kindly request that all guests adhere to our check-in and check-out times. By doing so, we can take the necessary time to thoroughly sanitize and clean each room to our  standards.


Open 10 AM to 8 PM, Memorial Day through Labor Day, our private heated pool offers the perfect retreat to soak up the sun, take a refreshing dip, or simply bask in the stunning surroundings. To ensure that our valued guests have the best experience possible, please note that our pool is exclusively reserved for registered hotel guests. Pool towels will be available for use and must remain in the pool area. They are not permitted to be removed from the pool area nor are they allowed to be taken to the beach

Two beach badges per room are included with your stay. Beach badges are for use during your stay and must be returned at check out. If you wish to use the beach on the day of check out, please visit to purchase day passes. Please note that daily passes are available 2 days prior to the date of use and normally do sell out.


Please be advised that The Hewitt Wellington Hotel is a historic building and, as such, does not have ramps, elevators or handicap accessible rooms. Unfortunately, this means that our hotel is not mobility accessible, and guests may need to use stairs to access their rooms. We understand that this may be an inconvenience for some guests, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any special requirements or need assistance during your stay, please let us know.

Please be advised of the following characteristics of our historic hotel: All entrances to the main floor of the hotel lobby are only accessible via exterior stairs and are not mobility accessible. There are seven (7) steps with handrails from the parking areas to the front wrap around porch. There is one additional step from the wrap around porch into the main lobby/registration desk area. First floor interior walkways from the registration desk are on one level with the exception of one (1) step to gain access to the restaurant, restrooms, and guest room 18. Please note that there are narrow doorways which do not provide mobility access. All second and third floor rooms are only accessible via interior stairs and are not mobility accessible. There is no handicap accessible parking available.


A 50% deposit will be taken at the time of booking via a credit card. The balance will be due at check-in.


Cancellation Policy:
15 days prior to the date of arrival you will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of $25.00.

14-7 days prior to the date of arrival you will forfeit the deposit of the reservation.

Less than 6 days prior to the date of arrival you will forfeit the cost of the entire stay.


We would like to put your mind at ease and advise you of additional health and safety measures being taken to help keep our guests and employees safe.

All "high-touch" areas are now being treated with additional disinfectant on a daily basis

Hand Sanitizer stations are located at the main entrance, front desk, and they key pick up location.

Housekeeping staff are taking additional measures to ensure rooms are clean and sanitized before guests arrival- Please be patient with us as additional time is needed to complete these tasks.  Also note that during your stay daily housekeeping is not provided.  If you need anything, please call the front desk and they will assist you- Front Desk is available between 8 am and 6 pm.
